We didn’t think Gabe was ready to watch a movie yet.  We had watched Wall-E last sunday with Rae and Barry. Our current plan was to wait till he was 4.  That changed on Friday when I downloaded an old Wall-E preview on the PS3… as soon as it was done and Wall-E said his name, Gabe promptly said it exactly like Wall-E did.  On sunday he insisted we get him a Wall-E book when we went shopping for more batteries for his train.  So today I called Art and met his kids to watch Wall-E with Gabe.  He sat in my lap the whole movie as quiet as can be.  He seemed to really enjoy himself.  He’s informed me that we are going again and said he wanted to see kung fu panda. Next time we’ll bring Mom along with us.

My 40gb PS3 finally arrived at wallmart.  If anyone wants It let me know, if there are no takers I’ll just return it.

I beat Ratchet and Clank Future last night and now need to go back and get all the cool stuff.  I also got my cheapo copy of UT3 for the PS3 in the mail.  I’m still quite surprised at the quality of the upscaling of dvd’s.

I get so little time to game anymore, I got to wondering if a subscription service like Gamefly would be a good solution for me. Their used games seem to be a good value also. Has anyone used Gamefly and if so what do you think of it ?

I just snagged a wii for a coworker, It’s been a while since I’ve tracked down a wii for any friends. I also picked up a $14 component cable for the wii. I might load up the Penny Arcade game on my laptop. June 12th is the day the new 80gb ps3 goes on sale. I need to collect my change, sell some stuff and get some money that is owed me. Maybe snag a few hours of consulting from someone that will pay in a timely fashion. I should be able to get it at a nice discount.

Wade was kind enough to come over and help me hang the tv tonight.  Was planning on running putting outlet and running conduit in the wall behind the tv but whatever unit we get for under the tv will probably be close enough to the tv that I could just run a simple conduit against the wall between the 2.

Kelly got me a lovely new tv for my birthday.
It’s currently temporarily set up in the living room till I can either wall mount to get a stand for it.

I’m debating the merits of an Apple tv vs. ps3 for streaming from our machines… ps3 is a bit ahead with the blueray/upscaling dvd playback.

When he followed me into bedroom to change.
Gabe : “I want on bed with patches.”
I lift him onto the bed.
Gabe (to patches) : “My name Gabe.” (turns to me) “What’s wrong with patches?”
Me : “Patches can’t talk, why don’t you pet her?”
Gabe proceeds to hug the poor girl

As we leave
Me : “It’s time to go to Nona’s.”
Gabe : “I want to stay here by myself!”
Me : “You can’t stay here by yourself.”
Gabe : “Yes I can.”

Gabe : “Daddy something is wrong outside”
Me : “What’s wrong Gabe?”
Gabe : “A T-Rex is hurt outside!”
Me : “How did the T-Rex get hurt?”
Gabe : “You hit it with your car! He fell down and got hurt!”
